  • A benefit concert on 23rd October 2011 ( see the events pages)
  • Art for charity: portrait drawings by Jos Looise, painter. For more information go to “Quota in beweging voor Taaislijm” (Quota in action for cystic fibrosis) on YouTube

Highflyers Foundation ('Stichting Hoogvliegers')

The objective of Highflyers is to organise flying trips with chronically or terminally ill children: ‘FLYING, LOOKING AROUND, CAREFREE DELIGHT’ in light aircraft, biplanes and helicopters.

Each flight of around 45 minutes during which the children, depending the circumstances, are also given the opportunity to navigate themselves. They are a pilot for one day! Often a family member can join the child.

The aim is to offer something not even reserved for ‘normal’ children to these kids, who are fighting against odds many people just cannot imagine. The children are in the age of 6-16 years old. www.stichtinghoogvliegers.nl
